The Lost Lakes of Bangalore is a project to document Bengaluru’s many tanks and lakes which have vanished with urbanization and growth. As part of this project India Water Portal is organizing a contest for schools and colleges to document this aspect of Bengaluru's history.

What's a web services company without a portfolio to brag about showcase its work?

I finally took the time today to put together a portfolio. Using Drupal's awesome Image and Views modules.

Traffic tracking confusion

The main metric of the success of a website is its traffic. The number of people who visit your site per day, month, year, whatever. For some bizarre reason, I had always assumed that we (and by that I mean everybody connected with the web business) had decided on how we were going to count visitors to a site.

I guess I was wrong all along.

Is a website ever 'complete'?

I often find people trying to 'complete' a website, the way they would complete, say, a brochure printing project so that the never have to visit it again. Or at least for a long time to come. This is a very bad strategy to follow for your website.
